Pound Lane

All of the stops were pulled out to make this housing association project in Pound Lane a stunning statement of why quality materials should be used in all areas of architecture. The Black Blue Variegated Smooth brick from JHF Brick works brilliantly with the rainscreen cladding and solar screens.

High quality clay mixtures, fired up to the sintering of the body, guarantee a high level of quality which is among others characterised by frost resistance and thus is designated as facing brick and clinker. The natural firing skin wrapping up the facing bricks and clinkers is dirt-repelling and completely insensitive to agressive environmental impacts such as acid rain, and all this independantly of the respective surface structure. No other facade has a longer service life than sintered brick.
