On-site facilities include heavy duty, computer controlled, multi-directional bridge saws with laser guidance which will precision cut large slabs of ceramic granite into custom made rainscreen panels of any size up to a maximum of 3.6m long by 2m wide and i6omm thick.

The ability to respond quickly to site measurements and carry out bespoke cuts in-house can eliminate costly delays for the rainscreen installation team.

These facilities are also used to prepare ceramic granite for interior applications such as worktops steps and vanity units.

Finishing facilities include linear machinery used to create ceramic granite slabs with polished profiled and rounded edges.

Safety Mesh

top Saftey Mesh

Tough protective 'anti-shatter' fibreglass mesh is applied to the back of each ceramic granite rain-screen panel as a safety measure to prevent loose chippings in the event of damage in situ. This complies with BS 8200.

Precision Drilling

When rainscreen panels have been cut to the correct dimensions and meshed they are then prepared in-house for installation.

All drilling is carried out by Shackerley using heavy duty undercut diamond tipped drilling machines.
