Cladding Systems
The substructure of the Corus Colorcoat prisma is called Galvalloy , Galvalloy is hot-dip metallic coating on steel based upon a 95% zinc : 5% aluminium eutectic alloy to BS EN 10326 : 2004. The combination of zinc and aluminium in these carefully developed proportions offers the ideal mix of both barrier and sacrificial protection, beyond that of standard hot-dip galvanised coatings.
- No maintenance required
- Full Corus 25 year Corus confident guarantee
- The metal skin is 0.7mm thick and is 95% Zinc, 5% Aluminium
Galavalloy offers improved flexibility and paint adhesion when used as a substrate for Colorcoat Prisma . More importantly it offers enhanced corrosion performance, particularly at cut edges. This allows Corus to offer class-leading Confidex Guarantee, where the performance of cut edges is covered for the full extent of the Confidex Guarantee period.
Colorcoat Prisma is designed around a thick -film coating formulation, providing a greater level of durability than PVDF ( Pvf2) . A high - performance primer provides excellent corrosion resistance, complemented by a robust top-coat with good scratch and abrasion resistance for easier handling and processing.
Corus offer a vast range on non-metallic and metallic colours. Corus can match almost any shade, and commonly use references such as RAL, NCS.
PSP façade solutions also offer a wide a varied range of standard and bespoke fabrications which can be used individually or incorporated as part of an integrated building envelope.
Matrix 1
Based on aluminum honeycomb technology, matrix 1 was developed to provide an exceptionally flat panel system at an ecconomial price. Fast installation is achieved by through fix, stacking panels which are fixed directly back to a secondary steel frame.
Matrix 2
Based on the high tolerance fabrication of pre or post finished metal sheet, matrix 2 offers individual panel demountability and is ideal for perforated or patterned panels. Incorporates carrier.
Matrix 3
Based on the use of pre coated aluminium composite materials [ACM], Exceptionally flat panels are available with fire rated cores and a wide range of finishes. matrix 3 is ideal for large format modular grids. Incorporates carrier.
Matrix 4
Based on the same technology as matrix 1, this system has been developed for use on high specification projects where exceptional flatness, individual demountability and fully modular design is required. Incorporates carrier.
Matrix 4 is currently undergoing tests for CWCT certification.
