Caledonian Road

London based Jan Kattein Architects approached us regarding a project for renovation and conversion of  London retail unit and apartments. The brief was to provide a glazed brick which would provide character, reflect light and act as a design in its own right. The Terra Glazed range was selected for the linear feel of the 48mm format and the slightly textured surface which makes it appear more like a glazed brick, rather than a brick shaped tile.

McElligott Builders were the contractors on this project and worked hard to ensure that the specific design and layout of the colours was carried out exactly as required. Given the tight access and restricted access on site, they have done remarkably well.
